According to the announcement on the website of the Revenue Administration (GİB), commercial income, agricultural income, self-employment income, wage income, real estate capital income (rental income), securities capital income and other earnings and revenues obtained by real persons in 2022 ( Annual income tax returns for capital gains and incidental gains) will be filed by 31 March.

DECLARATIONS CAN BE GIVEN UNTIL 15 AUGUST 2023

Declarations to be submitted by taxpayers, except for places where force majeure was declared, with a contract between the taxpayers who have a liability record as of the date of the earthquake and the professionals who are within the scope of force majeure, as of the date of the earthquake in places declared force majeure due to the earthquakes that occurred on February 6, are due to August 15, 2023. and the taxes to be accrued based on these declarations can be paid until 31 August 2023.

Taxpayers who are within the scope of force majeure will be able to pay by submitting their tax returns before these dates.

Taxpayers whose income consists only of wage income, rental income, income from securities, or one or more of other earnings and revenues will be able to submit their annual income tax returns without going to the tax office through the Prepared Declaration System prepared for them.

PAID IN TWO EQUAL INSTALLMENTS

The income tax accrued on the annual income tax returns to be filed regarding the incomes obtained in 2022 will be paid in two equal installments in March and July of 2023. The first installment, together with the stamp duty, must be paid by 31 March and the second by 31 July.
